"Cat's in the Cradle"

Write a paragraph in which you analyse the way "Cat's in the Cradle presents the concept of change. Identify whether the lyrics represent change as positive or negative. Identify the type/s of change in the song. Discuss how the lyrics represent change in this way by referring to at least two aesthetic features and the way the reader/ listener is positioned by them.



Homework

Write a paragraph analysing the way the aesthetic features in the first verse and chorus of "Cat's in the Cradle" position the reader. Quote from the lyrics in your paragraph.
